About Us
Just Cooking was founded by Mark & Bernie Doe who are professionals in the Food Industry, each with over 20 years experience. Their passion for Fine Food and the joy of sharing that knowledge is the driving force behind Just Cooking.
What began as a few Cookery Classes quickly turned into a Cookery School with a full schedule of courses.
Their vast industry experience resulted in regular requests for assistance by Restaurants and Hotels, which led to setting up of the Food Consultancy service dealing with all aspects of the trade.
Mark and Bernie have an aptitude for imparting their knowledge not only through the Cookery Classes but through Consultations with Food establishments and offering advice on the many different aspects of a good Food Business.
Mark Doe
Mark has spent over twenty years working in some of Europe's finest Hotels and Restaurants. These include The Ritz Hotel, London, The Four Seasons Hotel, London, The Merrion Hotel, Dublin, The Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links, Dublin and The Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise liner. Mark also spent two years working in Australia and worked in one of the top Restaurants in Melbourne, Lynch's Restaurant.
Mark has won many awards for his Cooking, including the overall winner of the Moreau Chablis Fish Dish of the Year Award 2004.
Bernie Doe
Bernie has over twenty years experience in Catering Management and Training. This includes The Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise liner, Ajays in Melbourne, The City University Business School in London and Seasons Catering at The Guinness Store House in Dublin.
