Just Cooking is a Cookery School and Food Consultancy business founded by Mark and Bernie Doe born out of a passion for good food.

Cookery School

The Just Cooking School will 'add a little flavour' to your life with creative Cookery Classes that can teach you how to be the perfect "Domestic God or Goddess". With step by step Recipes, guidance and Menu advice it's a practical way to learn a skill for life and can put the fun back into home cooking.

The new Cookery Class schedules can be found on the Course schedule pages. Menus are based on what's in season and prices include a tasting of what has been prepared.

The Cookery School is located in Firies, Co. Kerry, which is only five minutes from Kerry International airport and 10 minutes from both Killarney and Tralee.

Cookery Demonstrations

Creating an atmosphere and sense of excitement at any event can be a challenge, and while you are busy trying to make sure your event runs smoothly wouldn't it be great to hand over the job of creating excitement and entertaining your guests to a professional? Cooking and Chef Demonstrations are fast becoming the way to entertain a crowd at fund raisers, launches, fashion shows and many more corporate events. Professional chefs, like Mark Doe of Just Cooking, are used to working under pressure and being in the lime light! Mark can cater for any crowd and create a demonstration to excite and engage your clientele setting them up for a great night of food and socializing whatever the occasion may be.

Some of the clients Just Cooking have catered for in this way are Lee Strand, The National Dairy Council, Waterford Stanley and Boyles hardware, all who have all been extremely impressed with what the cookery demonstration brought to their event.

Mark will come to your business or event location and provide everything that is needed for the cookery demonstration and, along with his helpers, will even clean up afterwards! "Mark Doe's professional and entertaining cooking demonstration was enjoyed by all of the 500 guests who attended the Lee Strand & National Dairy Council Health & Wellbeing Evening at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel in Tralee. Mark demonstrated his creative culinary skills with wonderful dishes using Lee Strand products including; a quick cheesy fish gratin; brown soda bread; bread and butter pudding and a delicious orange and berry smoothie. Guests were treated to delicious tastings from Mark's cookery demonstration during the interval.
